Fiona zoekt: Een Kamer / Studio / Appartement in Leiden

Hey there, I am Fiona (33)‚I am looking for a new home for a limited period of time (1year) in an apartment on my own or in a shared flat with friendly, relaxed people who are similarly busy with their own lives but still enjoy living together :-)

I completed my degree in Social Work in Freiburg with a thesis in peace and conflict studies. Alongside my studies, I worked on a research project about eco-social villages in Switzerland. After several years of living in Freiburg for my studies and work, I lived and worked in an sustainable cummunity in northern Germany, supervising and mentoring international volunteers, promoting intercultural learning, dialogue and cultural sensitivity.

When my personality is not temporarily limited by performance pressure, I am a very open, empathetic and social person who is interested in global affairs and social issues. Thats why I am now studying a Master in Political Science at Leiden University. I also love literature, enjoy drawing, laughing, and admiring the beauty of nature, and when I feel more motivated, I also enjoy jogging ;-)

As a “home,” I´m looking for a place where I can have the peace and quiet I need for my responsibilities, while also occasionally sharing coffees, meals and activities with kind people. I enjoy being around others and value shared time, but I won’t be a full-time socialiser ;-)

Over the years, I have gained a wide range of shared-flat experiences. I´m responsible, tidy, and considerate of other people’s needs.
